Bar28 is perfectly located in the New Town area of Edinburgh. Its traditional style, with a modern twist, is the perfect setting for your mid shopping coffee break, pre dinner drinks, or making a night of it for a special occasion!

The carefully curated Gin and Whisky selection let our guests enjoy a taste of Scotland in the heart of the country's capital city.

Monday - Sunday | 12pm - 10pm

28 York Place will be closed to non-residents:
Monday 14th April - 4pm-close
Friday 9th May - 4pm-close
Sunday 18th May - 1pm-9pm
Thursday 22nd May - 4pm-close

Table Enquiries

Please use the enquiry form below to book a table at Bar28. Please note tables are not confirmed until you have received a WhatsApp confirmation from our team. For same day bookings please call us on 0131 524 0110.

For larger tables we may require a refundable deposit - your deposit will be retained if your table is cancelled within 24 hours of arrival, or you no-show.

Please note we do not take table bookings during the Fringe (1st August until 25th August).
